As the Logistics Manager at AVA, you will be instrumental in optimising the product delivery in collaboration with the Product Owner. Your core function will be to help develop the logistics vertical, as well as managing the control room which services our clients globally.

Your Role

Control Room:

Management of all control room duties and personnel
Ensure all services rendered to clients, as specified within their contracts, are fully satisfied, and complied with and that accurate and professional activity reports and analytical findings are timeously communicated.
Performance of ad hoc control room inspections during night shifts and/or weekend periods.
Setting up weekly meetings with management staff to ensure that all Quality procedures are up to date and being adhered to.

Client Liaison And Relationship Building:

Live and Historic monitoring and tracking of all devices
Report Checking
Internal Audit of Material Movement
Transport Auditing and Reporting
Performance of internal and field operational audits.

General Operational Management Duties:

Train and Onboard new staff
Train and upskill existing staff
Prepare and manage shift rosters
Involved in the Interview Process of new hires
Quality Management (ISO), drafting and approving SOP
Indicating KPI’s across all departments and communicating these to the relevant managers.
Report Auditing

What we are looking for

  • 3-5 Years’ Experience in a similar role
  • BCom Logistics Management/Operations Management/Supply Chain Management or similar
  • Computer Literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Excel – Advanced
  • Power BI – Advantageous
