The System Administrator is responsible for keeping the internal stakeholder happy in terms of the system and data integrity, ensuring that all the hardware is in order relating to the geofences, bucket switches, and that the data is accurate and performing. Your role is to ensure that the Technical Account Managers are getting the right data at the right time. You will be accountable for managing a small team of Data Clerks and overseeing the Control Room operators and operations. This involves resource allocation and ensuring that the teams are effectively and efficiently performing to provide overall support to the Client Success and Logistics departments at AVA.

Your Role

  • Internal & external ad hoc AVA Platform training
  • Provide support to Technical Account Managers
  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly Device checks
  • New site support (adding assets, linking devices, support installations, training, etc.)
  • Control Room and Data Clerk Training
  • Oversee Control Room shift schedules, shift allocations and resource allocations
  • Host and facilitate monthly control room meetings
  • Oversee the full function of the Control Room
  • Client engagements (client meetings with specific actions and overseen by Technical Account Manager)
  • Contractor Packs preparation, meetings, and ensuring documents have the relevant signatures
  • Freshdesk Ticket Support – Tier 1 and 2 and first investigation on Tier 3.
  • Support First-level investigation on loader & cycle accuracies

  • Mining /logistics/ technology experience – advantageous
  • Experience with SQL; additional experience with BI & visualization tools
  • Own transport as you will be required to travel occasionally to client sites to conduct training
  • Valid driver’s license
