As the technical account manager for our logistics vertical, you will be instrumental in optimizing the product delivery in collaboration with the Product Owner.
Your Role
Our team is small, so you will be fulfilling a core role BUT making a significant impact.
Client Liaison & Relationship Building:
- Exception escalation on key notifications
- Daily checks and journey/cycle accuracies
- Internal Audit of Material Movement
- Transport Auditing and Reporting
- Build Power BI reports on material movements and journey tracking
- Building custom reports based on client requirement in the logistics or load & haul vertical
- Performance of internal and field operational audits.
- Client visits – logistics service delivery
- Liaise with telemetry providers when onboarding a new client
- Training and support of client logistics
General Operational Duties:
- Implementing Service Level Agreements (SLA) with various clients
- Auditing the delivery of SLA’s with clients
- Build Reports and analysis decks (Excel; Power BI)
- Log improvement and bug tickets
- Create, review and update support articles Ensure all services rendered to clients, as specified within their contracts, are fully satisfied, and complied with and that accurate and professional activity reports and analytical findings are timeously communicated.
- Create value with the logistics services and increase the number of clients using the offering
What we’re looking for
- BCom Industrial Engineering or similar.
- Data Analytics – Excel, PowerBI, SQL
- People engagement – conducting training
- Freshdesk – responding to tickets and creating supporting documents
- Project management
- Presentation and reporting on site evaluation – PowerPoint, Word.
- 1-2+ years analytical experience.
- Medically fit to enter mine.
- Someone who is super passionate about data and reports.
- Would rather create a Power BI dashboard than eat chocolate.
- Your eye literally starts to twitch if you notice discrepancies.
- Problem solving runs through your veins
Bonus Points
- You are an Engineer!
- 1-2 years years of mining/logistics/ technology experience – advantageous.
- Experience with SQL; additional experience with BI & visualization tools.
- Curious and inquisitive, strong interest in diving deep into analysis, strong work ethic, capable of a high level of autonomy and creative contribution.
- Proficient MS Excel skills.
- Ability to work closely with multi-functional teams.
- Creative problem solver.
